Well hello sports fans. Me again. Just going to upload some photos I've had developed. Shots from 2011. Taken with my Petri GX-1 and also my Yashica T AF.
Both out of date film by about 10 years. I set the wrong film speed with the Petri. Thought id be ok with 400, but it would of been better with 200 hence the grain-ness factor.
Anyway. Here they are.
Enjoy.

Update.
Hi sports fans.
Just a little update to let you know I'm not dead.
I'm still working on my portfolio/website revamp but here is a little taster of what I've been doing. (Can't believe I've just used the work 'taster'. Really!?)
I'm roughly about 40% all my new work. Really happy so far. Its different, but hopefully in a good way.
As a lot of you know, Hallam Uni are fundraising like a demon for the upcoming degree show.
There was a Tombolla last week at Bungalows & Bears, and I was asked to give something to help out and hopefully generate some funds. I decided to knock up a framed A3 drawing which is the black and white image below. Hopefully the person who won it hasn't burnt it by now or has tried to trade it in for something else. Or even worse, just kicked the image out and kept the frame.
Oh before I forget, a thanks to Nick Deakin as well for submitting one of his prints for the event.
The other piece is work is from my new collection. Another hand drawn A3 piece. A lot of my new work is purely created by hand now and its rare I use my mac. I guess it will be nice to try and sell off a lot more original hand-drawn framed pieces of work in the future. Just adds a another element of what I'm trying to achieve. All my new pieces of work will be available to buy from my new website next month.
I'll also try and use this blog more often. Some new 35mm film photos will be shared soon. Its the first roll back In about 3 months, and I think (Well hopefully) there is some good shots to show.
Anyway, until next time.

Proper Safe Mate.
Finally a new post. Sorry for the delay. I've been keeping everything under wraps the last month. I've been having a big portfolio change around and bringing new ideas to the table.
Im aiming for a new website design launch at the end of March-Mid -April. Half of my work is simply going to go, and new work which I am currently making is going to be uploaded.
The reason behind all of this is that I understand more than ever that I need to put more of myself into my work. My work needs to reflect my personality and opinions/views on life.
I always like to have a laugh and constantly joke around, especially with words because I think the English language is hilarious. Double meanings are probably my thing and I think of these pretty fast day to day and put them into some sort of stupid context.
I've been reading a lot of Illustration books to help me out in the Industry and each one has said that having a sense of humour will help me out more than anything else eg. If I can put a witty spin on events, moments, quotes etc.
I've done a rough drawing this afternoon of an idea I thought of this morning.
This will be the last post up until my website re-design and launch.
I have done some varied stuff so far and really been working my ass off. Im only about 25% there. I've done a lot of typographical pieces with some decent decorative patterns. The rest , you will have to wait and see.
Thanks for reading sports fans.

Can't be arsed.
Another quick little update.
Thought it was time to revert back to some loose typography, similar to the stuff I did a few years ago with the Metalwork project.
I was looking through some old work, and decided I quite liked the speech bubble I created a while ago on the hi-fi piece with the musical notes inside.
The bubble is not neat, jagged but somehow fits in with the typography.
The halftone background is totally new.
I havn't tried any of this stuff for a LONG time.
I've been reading a lot of Graphic Novels recently, and at the moment I am reading Batman:Gothic. I noticed that the lead Illustrator used a lot of halftone patterns in his shadings and they look super awesome, so thought id apply this to some of my pieces.
Im going to create some more quotes and different styles of typography in the next few days in these speech bubbles to see what they look like.
Anyway, enough rambling. Hope you like it.
On another good point. Just when I wanted a Yashica camera. 2 come along at once.
In the past two weeks I've managed to find a FX-D Quartz SLR in a charity shop, but even better. I bought a Yashica T series AF compact for 2 quid in a charity shop. These are considered to be the best point and shoot cameras created. Works like a charm.
Anything else to add. Yeah. Film wise. Saw two French films recently. First one was called 'A Prophet'. Why are the prison films always the best ones? It was so gritty I had to take a shower afterwards. That was great. But the other, which I thought was better, was a film called 'Tell No One'. Its pretty recent - 2007. I'll tell you now, its a good one.
Over and out.

New Collage.
Just a quick update on a new piece I've created. Decided to use collage again.
No idea what to call it, so I'll leave it with Untitled.
Hope you enjoy.

In too Deep.
Another quick update.
Finally produced something Im fairly happy with.
This is called 'The Challenge In The Challenger Deep'.
I've always been fascinated about the depths of the ocean and what the hell lurks down there. Especially since we only know about 10% of it.
Its similar to the drawing I did when I was ill. Im beginning to like just using black and white with a hint of shading. Im starting to use my cinematic eye. I have no idea if thats a word or if it makes sense, but I feel my illustrations need to strongly have theme or story behind it and it definitely needs a dramatic shot.
Anyway, I hope you like it. I have some more ideas in my sketchbook of scenes that I want to produce in the future, so no doubt they will be produced soon.
